ChangingThePresent has been an all-consuming endeavor, but a very rewarding one. Rails is absolutely exceeding all expectations, but we haven’t hit overdrive with traffic yet. That will come, in due time.
In the mean time, I wanted to post a quick note to post our progress.
- We just announced a feature called Drives. We’re still working on banners and buttons, but the net of all of this is that anyone can use a drive to raise money for any charity that has filed a tax return in this country in the last 5 years.
- We are just about to open the site up to all nonprofits. Anyone will be able to upload data for their nonprofit, and take advantage of the great tools for raising awareness and money. That feature should be live by the end of the week.
- We’ve been doing some work on banners and buttons. You can publish a banner for the site, your favorite nonprofit, or cause.
We’ll be announcing shortly some great hires we’ve made. Momentum is fantastic. If you want to help out, log on, create a profile, and use the spread the word features to tell people you know. If you really want to change the world, find a gift or nonprofit that you’re passionate about and start a drive. It’s easy.
